The golf course is a 27-hole facility located in the central portion of unincorporated Palm Beach County. Opened in 1995, the par 72 facility consists of three 9-hole courses that may be played in three 18-hole combinations. The course is open year round to an estimated 80,000 rounds. The facility has a driving range, three practice greens, five practice bunkers and a chipping green. Each hole has five tees from which to play to accomodate various levels of players. The facility also includes a clubhouse and a food and beverage concession area. LPGA and PGA instructors are available for group and private instruction. Okeeheelee Golf Course consists of approximately 210 acres, of which the golf course makes up 179 acres. Lakes account for 24 acres and the remainder is used for parking areas and support facilities. The course was built in 1994 and began operating in 1995. The bunkers were renovated in 2007 and greens renovated with Tif-Eagle in 2008-09 and again in 2020 and 2021. Okeeheelee Golf Course was recognized by Audubon International as a Certified Sanctuary in 2008.
